Stamped Parts
- Inspection machines for stamped parts
This non-contact inspection machine controls stamp parts (for instance nibs) fully automated according several quality criteria like distortion, dimensions, symmetry and punch marks. The operator only has to fill the parts into a vibratory feeder. The inspection machine sorts the good and the faulty parts into separate boxes.
A gripper carries every part to the camera and turns it that way, that it can be inspected head-on and edgeways. A second camera controls the punch marks on the surface.
The image analysing software analyses every camera picture, puts out an according signal to the sorting facility and displays the respective result on the screen. Pictures of faulty nibs can be saved and inspection protocols can be generated.
